My stay at the hotel was really enjoyable. The room was spacious and clean with a fabulous fireplace, couch, table, and jetted tub. The king bed was comfy, and the overall atmosphere was great. The only downside was the smoke smell in the hallway, which was a bit off-putting.

I found the hotel to be conveniently located just a few minutes from the downtown area of Galena, offering a peaceful retreat away from the bustling historical center. While the rooms were initially musty, the issue disappeared once the air conditioning was in operation. The service was extremely friendly, although the construction noise in the lobby area disrupted our morning rest. The dining options were minimal and somewhat disappointing, but the easy access to attractions made up for it.
